Heat Wave

Death Valley National Park, CA

As I endured the 100+ degree of California's Death Valley National Park, I started to wonder if the heat was worth it; I was camping there in my van after all, yet to go on any hikes. But these thoughts quickly dissipated as I made my trek up to the infamous Dante's View. Looking below me as the sun went below the mountains, I remembered that nature has a way of reciprocating sacrifice with reward. And believe me, the summer heat will make you earn these views, but they're all worth it!
